GWAR Miami Gardens Concert reviews
Gary Allan was great!!
I saw GWAR in Pittsburgh this year in June and they put on a good show at that time also. The security at the venue was terrible, with no barrier between the fans and the stage. There were many girls at the stage trying to grab his leg, but being the veteran he is, he kept backing up and knew what to do. He was supposed to come on stage at 7, but came on at 7:15. He could have come on at 8, and I would have been happy. There were 2 teleprompters on the side so people in the back could see him if their view was blocked. His appeal comes from his raspy voice, and I think that's where he sings with feeling. He stood most of the time in the middle and to the left of the stage. He showed like he was having fun that night, talking about Sandy and how 2 of his 3 shows for the weekend were canceled. He came once to sing a song at our end, but I think he was intimidated about those girls and didn't know what they would do. There were some young, blonde chesty girls that he checked out at our end. At the end of the concert, he signed many autographs, pics, CDs, hands, yes hands, touched hands, and some nice fan even gave him roses. I've been a fan of his since 1996, so I always enjoy his shows. If you're a true fan, you would have known the words to them as well. I love his voice, CDs, and would absolutely go again. I had 2 pairs of tickets, so I sat in the ones closer to the stage. He sang most of his hits, but I would have liked some of the songs on his CDs. There were fans aged from 5-80, and I can see how he lasted for all the years that he has, and all the fans simply love him. I'm looking at Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or somewhere where I don't have to travel far. I would go again to his show, but he doesn't come to Western NY or the surrounding area very much.
